  5. Add garlic to the pan and cook until it starts to brown (about 3 minutes), stirring frequently.
  6. Incorporate the bacon and cook for a couple more minutes.
  7. Add chicken stock and cook until about half of the stock boils away (about 2 minutes), stirring occasionally.
  8. Add salt and pepper to taste (I like to add a lot of pepper).
